We highly recommend going to a local Home Improvement Store (ex: Home Depot, Lowe's,etc.) to pick up and view a MinWax Color Stain Chart. Premium Oil MinWax Wood Finish Penetrating Stain (Yellow Can).
NOTE: Different species of wood, and oftentimes different pieces of the same species of wood, will "take" the same stain differently; and thus, produce varying effects in depth and tone of color.
