Custom Podiums With Your Logo: Options, Prices, and How It Works

Here's the thing about a podium with your logo on it: it shows up in every photo. The ribbon cutting, the graduation, the press conference, the Sunday livestream. The podium is in all of them, and so is whatever is (or isn't) on the front.

Adding a logo is easier than most people expect. You just need to know your options, what they cost, and what file to send. Let's get into it.

Before you start

Find your vector file

This is the one that trips people up. A vector file (.ai, .eps, .svg, or a vector PDF) is drawn with lines and shapes, so it stays sharp at any size. A PNG or JPG is made of pixels, so it gets blurry when it's blown up to fill a podium front. Your designer, your print shop, or whoever made your signs or business cards almost always has the vector version. Ask them first. A PNG or JPG is fine for previewing, but for the real thing we need the vector file. Our post on logo file formats explains the difference in more detail.

Know where it goes

Most logos go on the front panel, facing the audience. Some podiums also have a sign panel at the top, a removable logo panel, or spots for magnetic plaques. Each product page shows where the logo goes and how big it can be.

Plan for the proof

Before anything is made, you get a proof showing your logo on the podium, with its size and finish. Nothing goes into production until you approve it. That approval step adds a little time, so if you have a date, order a few weeks earlier than you would for a plain podium.

Your logo options, with prices

Here's every way we can put a logo on a podium, from simplest to fanciest. Prices are add-ons to the podium itself.

Flat vinyl logo

Your logo printed and applied flat to the front panel, cut to its shape, up to 16 inches wide and 12 inches tall. It's crisp, colorful, and the most affordable option. On our aluminum lecterns like the VH1, it's $175.

3D raised logo

Your logo printed on thick acrylic, cut to its shape, and mounted so it stands off the panel. It catches the light and looks great in photos, especially on a brushed aluminum or black front. Same 16 by 12 inch maximum, for $395 on our aluminum lecterns.

Magnetic logo plaques

On our handcrafted hardwood lecterns like the Counselor, logos go on wood plaques held by hidden magnets. You can order more than one and swap them in seconds, which is perfect for a venue that hosts different groups, or a school that wants the district seal on Monday and the team logo on Friday. A full-color vinyl plaque is $350, a laser-engraved plaque is $425, and a hand-carved, hand-painted seal (up to 12 inches) is $675. A padded case to store them is $145.

Engraved into the wood

Want it permanent? On the Counselor, your logo can be laser engraved straight into the front panel, with no plaque, for $425.

A logo on a solid oak lectern

Our solid oak lecterns like the Royal can have your logo added to the front panel from your artwork for $300. The Royal is designed for this, with a flat front and plain pillar that leave a clean space. Your proof confirms the finish before anything is made.

Etched glass

On our glass pulpits and lecterns, your logo or church name is etched into the front glass, and it's included in the price. Color-filled etching is an option if you want the logo to stand out more.

Etched acrylic panels

Our wood and acrylic pulpits take an etched symbol, like a cross or three crosses, in the acrylic front, with several symbols included. Your own logo is an option too.

Sign panels and logo panels

Some podiums are built around the logo. The CS1 and CS2 have a raised sign panel at the top of the front, so your name gets its own framed space. The slim aluminum and wood Y-55 comes with a removable 24 by 5 inch logo panel across the front of the reading surface.

Try it before you buy

On many of our aluminum and hardwood lecterns, the product page has a "Try your logo" tool. Upload your logo (a PNG, JPG, or SVG works), then place and size it on a to-scale picture of the podium. When it looks right, approve the placement and add it to your order. If you have the vector file handy, you can add it right there too. You'll still get a proof before production, but you'll know exactly what to expect.

How it works, step by step

  • Choose your podium and the logo option on its product page.
  • Try your logo in the preview tool, if the podium has one.
  • Place your order.
  • Send your vector file to sales@podiumsdirect.com with your order number, if you didn't add it in the preview.
  • Review and approve your proof.
  • Your podium goes into production and ships free.

One heads-up: a few of our lower-priced models don't take a logo at all. If a product page doesn't show a logo option, give us a call and we'll point you to one that does.
