Military Podiums & Lecterns

For units, bases & veterans organizations

Podiums for ceremonies, briefings, and the base chapel.

A military podium does duty at the change of command, the promotion board, the retirement ceremony, the weekly briefing, and the base chapel, often the same week. The lecterns on this page were picked for that schedule: portable sound lecterns that work on a parade field or in a hangar, hardwood lecterns that belong in a headquarters conference room, and aluminum podiums that take an applied unit insignia.

What units, bases, and veterans organizations order most:

  • The 950 portable sound lectern and the 6010 Aristocrat for outdoor ceremonies, with wireless mic options
  • The Conquest, Celebrity, and Counselor hardwood lecterns for headquarters and briefing rooms
  • The VH1 aluminum podium for auditoriums and training centers
  • The DVP2627 down-view computer lectern for classrooms and operations briefings

Every order ships free in the lower 48. Send your insignia as a vector file and we'll apply it and send a proof before production. We work from government purchase orders regularly and will provide the paperwork your contracting office asks for.

Common questions

What podium do military units buy for ceremonies?
For a change of command or promotion ceremony outdoors, the 950 portable sound lectern and the 6010 Aristocrat are the usual picks because the amplification is built in. For headquarters and briefing rooms it's the Conquest, Celebrity, or Counselor hardwood lecterns, or the VH1 aluminum podium.
Can you put our unit insignia or seal on the podium?
Yes. Send the insignia as a vector file (.eps, .ai or .pdf) and we'll apply it to the front panel and send a proof before production.
Do you sell to bases and units on a government purchase order?
Yes. Request a written quote, route it through your contracting or purchasing office, and send the PO when it's approved. We supply a W-9 on request and handle tax-exempt orders.
Can the podium ship to a base?
Yes. Shipping is free in the lower 48. Larger podiums arrive by freight on a pallet, fully assembled, so give us the receiving point and any gate instructions when you order.
Do you have a podium for the base chapel?
Yes. Several of the hardwood lecterns and the metal truss cross-design lectern are used in base chapels, and the full church pulpit range is available if the chapel wants something more traditional.
